Friday, the day with the most accidents; INSTAT: In most cases, people aged 25–34 are involved!

During the period January-December 2025, the number of road accidents decreased by 17.5%, compared to the same period a year earlier.

According to data published by INSTAT, road accidents in 87.7% of cases occurred as a result of driver behavior. The highest number of accidents during this period was caused by the 25-34 age group, which accounts for 33.1% of the total number of accidents.

In December 2025, 130 road accidents were recorded, of which 176 people were injured (killed and injured).

INSTAT announced that, in December 2025, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Friday with 20.0%, while the lowest number of accidents occurred on Wednesday and Sunday with 10.8% each.

The highest number of road accidents occurred during the time period 14:00 - 17:00, accounting for 22.3% of the total number of road accidents.
