The Special Prosecutor's Office seems to have taken all the SP mayors. A few days ago "Pamfleti" published an article stating that SPAK has put Edison Memolla of Rrogozhina and Rakip Suli of Kamza under investigation, while today there were also developments.
Memolla was presented to SPAK, where it is learned that he was informed of the charges by prosecutor Edvin Kondili. According to sources, he has been charged with corruption in the partial elections of March 6, 2022. It is about a recording where he promises to pay the energy bills for citizens if they vote for him. Meanwhile, it is also learned that he is being investigated for abuses of tenders for cleaning the city and funds for the earthquake, and trouble may increase in the coming days.
However, his indictment seems to be an alarm bell for Rakip Suli, as the latter is also being investigated for abuses of earthquake funds and tenders. Regarding these accusations, the two are being investigated by the prosecutor Elvin Gokaj and it is not surprising that Kipja i Kamza is climbing the stairs these days.
Regarding the interception of Memolla, in the elections of March 6, he was the commanding chairman and he has been interfering with OSHEE in order not to cut off the electricity of a poor family in exchange for votes.
