For 3 years, SPAK has not arrested Ergys Verdho, although his corruption during 11 years in 4 director positions is nearly 1.5 billion Euros; while Babloku takes him from one "pan" to another; a fact that creates doubts, that he defends him who says that the directors "eat pears" behind his back, as he will come out and say about the Barber of the streets...
On the day that SPAK and the Special Court arrested the General Director of Roads, Evis Berberi, for corruption with tenders and money laundering, Prime Minister Edi Rama removed Ergys Verdhon from KESH and appointed him Director of Railways.
Referring to the corruption file, Ergys Verdho should be in prison, for the day with the tenders during the 3 years 2018-2021 when he was the Director of Roads and during the 2 and a half years as the director of KESH; while the prime minister in the country removed him from the administration and took him to SPAK; on March 13, 2024, it took him to the "pan" of the Railway, not to re-establish this ruined sector, but to continue the thefts.
If Babloku refuses to hand over this thieving director to justice, the non-action of SPAK, which has 3 criminal reports against him and dozens of denunciations from businesses for affairs with tenders, is absurd.
Only in a criminal complaint filed in October 2020, SPAK has evidence of 130 million Euros of abuses with road tenders, given to builders Pëllumb Salillari, Milo Gjikuria, Rrok Gjoka, Ndue Kola, Sadri Abazi, Bashkim Ulaj, Gentian Sula, etc. with costs 2-3 times higher than the real cost and with some additional contracts with fictitious works.
While according to the KLSH report, Ergys Verdho has caused 620 million euros of damage to the state, until May 2021 when he was the Director of Roads, but the Prime Minister ignored the anti-corruption reports and appointed him Director of KESH.
Even for the period May 2021-March 2024 at KESH, Ergys Verdho has been reported to SPAK, for 380 million Euro theft with tenders for the purchase of expensive energy on the stock exchange and its cheap sale.
Another report in SPAK is the affair with the 2 ships brought from Bangladesh to Vlora; which, although they have not been put to work, for two years he continues to pay them 90,000 Euros per day in rent, but in their name, he also made a fictitious tender of 100 million Euros for allegedly supplying fuel.
The thefts have gone as far as that adventure, when during his duties the Director of KESH, Ergys Verdho, made fictitious tenders worth millions of Euros for the cleaning of tree leaves in the yards of HPPs; 300 million Lek tenders for the purchase of rowing boats in Fierza lake; tenders for external advisers in the energy exchange, for renting cars and cultural activities of the KESH administration.
Another report of KLSH and the internal audit of KESH and the Ministry of Energy have revealed that Ergys Verdho has abused public funds worth 170 million Euros during the period October 2013-July 2018 when he was Director of HEC-Fierza; and then, Babloku appointed him Deputy Director of Roads and then General Director of Roads.
On March 12, 2024, Ergys Verdho acted by resigning from KESH, while within 24 hours, Babloku appointed him General Director of the Railway; when referring to evidence of economic-financial crime worth over 1.5 billion Euros in 4 posts, he should have been in prison.
