By order of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), the cell phone of the former mayor of Kavaja, Elvis Rroshi, was seized, and his apartment was searched.
It is suspected that the seizure of the cell phone and the search of the apartment are related to the investigations being conducted by SPAK regarding electoral crimes that occurred during the electoral campaign and on election day.
In addition to Roshi, 12 facilities were searched and 9 mobile phones were seized. Although these procedural actions have been taken, no security measures have currently been imposed on Roshi.
The investigations are being followed by special prosecutor Kondilli and have been carried out by the structures of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH), with the support of the State Police.
We recall that on May 11, a citizen identified as Xhuli Duda was followed by civilian agents, where she was seen meeting with Elvis Roshi and then left to continue her journey where she was caught with a list of the names of her family members.
This has fueled suspicions that he was paid in exchange for his vote. Duda was questioned after being caught red-handed, while investigations are still ongoing.
