At this Wednesday's meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Chairman Fatmir Xhafaj stated that a draft has already been made for the justice system, which is expected to be put up for discussion.
Experts have also proposed the establishment of a Standing Parliamentary Committee that will monitor the work of justice institutions.
Regarding this, criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço said on the show "Real Story" that we change people, not institutions, because we can bring in people who have the will and enforce the law.
" It was an expected development that with the establishment of this commission, there would be developments due to the high number of participants, legal experts, professors, etc. I know that the international factor placed a red line, especially in relation to the special structure, so that there would be no changes to their law. There was also an investment from the international side. We are talking about political control of democratic institutions, not technical control. We would rather change names than change laws. This is simpler. Today we have 8 institutions that can control the justice bodies. If these are not effective, why should we change institutions? We change people. We bring people there who have the will and enforce the law. It is a matter of names, not a matter of institutions ," said Karamuço.
