Former Secret Service chief Fatos Klosi spoke about the Special Investigation Unit's accusations against the KLA, in the context of the protest that took place in Tirana today.
Klosi stated that he was present at the first meeting of all the KLA commanders. He stated that, in his opinion, perhaps all the commanders met there for the first time.
" I know how difficult communication between the zones was. Keep in mind that Serbia controlled the mobile phones there, they used tricks. I can tell you one thing, that I was at the general staff meeting after the war ended, when they tried to reach an agreement, where NATO demanded the disarmament of the KLA. At that meeting where I was, all the KLA commanders met, maybe that's where they all met for the first time, at that meeting. Such were the circumstances. Communication was difficult. Then, after the second period, where the accusation speaks, it was no longer the KLA that controlled the situation, not even before it controlled it. So I call the accusations fabricated. How were they closed under the pretext that witnesses were allegedly intimidated ," Klosi said on "Euronews Albania".
