Over the last two days, more than 45,000 foreign and Albanian citizens have entered and exited the border crossing points of Kapshtica and Qafë-Thanë.
The highest flow during these two days was at the border point of Kapshtica. The authorities of the border station worked with the maximum capacity of the counters at the entrance, while at the exit they continued to work with 3 counters.
In the last 48 hours, more than 17,000 nationals have entered and left North Macedonia in the direction of Albania, while only a day before, 7,928 foreign and Albanian citizens have passed from the neighboring country to our country, from Qafë Thana. recording the highest number of entries in this tourist season.
If from Greece in the direction of Albania the majority of citizens are Albanians who will spend the holidays near their families, from North Macedonia in the direction of Albania the majority are Albanians from the neighboring country who have come to rested on the coast.
During this period, there have been many movements of tourists coming from the countries of origin, most of them coming for holidays, while a small part use Albania to go to the EU countries.
