Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha stated that Fredi Beleri, who was sentenced two days ago to 2 years for buying votes in the May 14 elections, has been sentenced three times before by justice in Albania and Greece for various criminal offenses.
Invited to the show "Te Paespozuarit", Hoxha even said that Beleri was forgiven by SPAK, which, according to him, buried the Peshpia massacre file.
" Because of the information we have published in this studio, I have been sued three times. Two have been fired, there is a third. He used them to scare us. He has informed the editors and colleagues not to fall into his trap. I have not seen an exemplary defense that was made to Beler and a condition was set as if Beler is punished this is not a democratic country.
I don't care about Beleri as a person. Beleri did not become so important because he was a good politician and because he was the tribune of freedom in Himara, because he does nothing for the properties in Himara because he has nothing in his hands, the prime minister has it.
Beleri became a phenomenon and put Albania under pressure. But Albania has succeeded, if not for the USA. Beleri shouldn't have too many complaints. I have two decisions for the SPAK that went to the special court to stop the investigation into the massacre of Peshpia, which was reopened in 2019 by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes.
SPAK did not investigate and buried the Peshkepi massacre, December 6, 2021, decision number 79, taken by the same judge who sentenced Beler now, Erion Çela, for Beler and 18 people. Even the Court of Appeal on April 7, 2022 has finally dismissed it.
Beleri has been convicted 3 times in Greece, arrested on March 19, 1995, at Delvinac's restaurant, where there were 7 people who were going to attack the Llongo ward. In the car they were driving, 6 Kalashnikovs and 2 TTs were caught, which were taken from the department of Peshpia.

He was also caught at the airport with a fake Albanian passport and was punished. The third case together with Mr. Kokaveshin is sentenced for violations of national symbols, he was sentenced to 3 years and the Strasbourg court upheld this. He escaped.
