Prosecutor of SPAK, Arben Kraja, has been honored with the title "Cavaliere dell Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana" (Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic).
This title was given to the prosecutor Kraja by the Italian ambassador, Fabrizio Bucci, on behalf of the Italian president Sergio Mattarella, in the presence of the Albanian president Bajram Begaj and the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Maja, the head of SPAK Altin Dumani and the heads of the Albanian justice institutions .
This is the highest title awarded by Italian President Sergio Mattarella. This title was given to Mr. Kraja, to evaluate the cooperation of SPAK with the Italian Anti-Mafia Prosecutor's Office during the time when Kraja headed the Special Prosecutor's Office.
We remind you that SPAK Prosecutor Arben Kraja is investigating the privatization file of the Partizani complex, where former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi are accused of corruption.
