Italian journalist, Sigfrido Ranucci, host of the investigative show "Report" that shocked the government and not only after the last show about the refugee camp in Albania and the role of the General Secretary of the Prime Minister, Engjëll Agaçi.
In an interview for the show "La volta buona" in Raiuno, the journalist confessed how he saved an Albanian from death, who later turned out to have been paid to kill him.
He says that the incident happened four years ago, when a heavy crash happened near his house, revealing a motorcyclist in a pool of blood. According to him, the young man had broken his jaw and cut the femoral artery, which can cause death within a few minutes if the bleeding is not stopped.
"I stitched up his wound, he had a severed femoral artery and he would have died in 20 minutes. Anyone who is a motorcyclist, as my father was, knows that at that moment you have very few minutes to intervene and stop the bleeding, which I tried to do immediately. He was an Albanian boy, a drug trafficker. Years later I found out that he had been sent to kill me, which is why I ended up under guard. There are sacrifices for me! I have to thank the state because it allows me to continue doing my job freely," said the journalist.
A few months later, he learned that the Albanian who saved his life named Ardian had been paid by a criminal group to kill him. Sigfrido Ranucci says during the interview that he has never regretted having saved him from death.
