Former Defense Minister Fatmir Mediu attacked the Durda family in the courtroom for the Grëdec masquerade and demanded their removal from the courtroom.
The medium told the Durda family that they have been listening to them for 15 years, at a time when they are seeking justice for their murdered minor son.
But, after Mediu's words, Mrs. Durda said that they were the ones who had been waiting for 15 years for justice, as she tearfully expressed that today their son would have been 25 years old.

Prosecutor: As for the victims to be legitimized in this process, there is also the Strasbourg decision, which has given you the right, if they need to be present. We ask the court to administer some new evidence, which came to us later, we ask for a series of documents to be administered. Maybe this is not the procedural moment, but they arrived late. The decision of the Strasbourg Court is also based on these documents. We ask the court to allow them as evidence and then we will also provide explanations why we have this request. Regarding the request for protection, Acts from foreign authorities are administered only after the court's request. Their testimonies should be brought to the court only if the court would have accepted them as witnesses. In this case, I ask the court to dismiss the request.
Mediu's Defense: The prosecution's position has nothing to do with our case. The victim of the criminal offense does not have equal rights with us in this judicial process.

This is not justice, I also have the right to explain my position. I have no problem with the presence or if they ask me, but I cannot accept that politics be played on this issue. I explained the request for witnesses at the beginning of the hearing, if the prosecution wanted to do justice, it should have investigated properly. These witnesses are very important for us and for my defense. These generals have taught us how to dismantle weapons. This is not just a trial.
