Journalist Artan Hoxha has spoken about the trial held for the security measure against Safet Gjic and Alma Kaçi, where the former mayor was left in a cell while the woman who made the video with erotic content, was left under house arrest.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Hoxha said that Gjici is accused of passive corruption, while Alma Kaçi is accused of active corruption.
According to the journalist, in the clarifications given during the session, Alma.K stated that during the first meeting with Gjici, he got the impression that the former mayor of Kukës had a liking for her and therefore decided to film the second meeting.
"An attempt was made to make this case last only three days, but it didn't happen like that. The publication of the full video made the story take a different course. We are dealing with a criminal offense that is under the SPAK's law. Today the court made recognition of the decision. The court decided the measure of prison arrest for Safet Gjicin. For Mrs. Alma, the court decided the measure of house arrest, because she has a 12-year-old child and her sick mother. The prosecution did not judge that she poses a danger that could damage the investigation. They also kept his passport.
