Many cities in the country without electricity...
A large part of the country's districts are without electricity. It is reported that around 17:40, Durrësi, Vlora, Fieri, Lushnja and Saranda were engulfed by the earthquake.
Kavaja, Shkozeti and Rrogozhina also remained without lights. In Vlora, electricity was also absent in the villages of Selenicë, Orikum and Palasa.
It is learned that the cause was a defect in the 220 kilovolt supply line. As a result, all of Durrës and cities to the south have been left without power.
It is reported that there was a serious defect in a high voltage line in the area of Berat. While from official sources from OSHEE Fier, you learned that the OST lines were down both in Fier and in Elbasan.
The lack of energy has created a problem both in movement in all cities, as well as in businesses that depend on electricity, especially bars and hotels. Also, many families were left without heating.
