The head of Civil Emergencies, Haki Çako, appeared this morning at the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office.
The reasons why Čako was called to SPAK are not yet known.
For the journalists, Haki Çako did not make any comments at the moment he entered the SPAK premises.
Meanwhile, other details are expected to be learned later.
We remind you that Haki Çako started his career in the ranks of the blue uniforms in 1998. He was appointed Chief of the Criminal Police in Kuçovo, while only after 8 months he was appointed Chief of the Criminal Police at Police Station No. 1 in Tirana.
After that, Cako took the position of inspector against terrorist acts in the Tirana Police, while he was also appointed specialist against strong dogars.
In 2003 Cako became the head of the Vlora Police Station, while in 2006 he went to Elbasan as an anti-terrorist specialist. After the appointment in Elbasan, Çako voluntarily left the State Police to return after 4 years. In 2010, he received several appointments as specialist and chief in the State Police. It was in 2013 that Haki Çako's career began to take an immediate rise, where he was appointed as Director of the Gjirokastër police, while a year later he was given the position of Deputy Director General for organized crime and serious crimes.
On April 15, 2015, Haki Çako was appointed Director General of the police with the proposal of Sajmir Tahir and the signature of Prime Minister Edi Rama, replacing Artan Didi in this position.
In his career as Police Director, Čako was accused of using the IMSTI Catcher wiretapping device and was suspended from office, while the suspension was later lifted.
During the election period in 2017, Čako was accused by LSI and PD of drug connections. The reason for Haki Chako's departure from office is thought to be the cold relationship with the Minister of the Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj.
