The Special Prosecutor's Office requested 2.4 years of imprisonment with a shortened trial for Lefter Alla, the former mayor of Bulqiza.
In today's plea hearing, SPAK requested 3.6 years of imprisonment for Lefter Alla, which is reduced to 2.4 years due to a shortened trial, as well as an additional sentence that the former mayor of Bulqiza does not exercise any public function for 5 years.
Lefter Alla is accused of violating equality in tenders and abuse of office. He is under investigation along with 10 other officials.
According to SPAK, the value of the water supply tender, for which Alla is accused, amounts to 322,439,000 new ALL, with a 10-month deadline.
The former mayor, who was arrested by order of SPAK, claims that the accusation of violation of equality in tenders raised by SPAK is unfounded and in violation of the law.
For the former deputy mayor of the Municipality, Enkeleda Lleshi, 3 years in prison with a shortened trial of 2 years and an additional sentence of not exercising any public function for 5 years are requested.
Decisions of SPAK for the other accused:
-Enkeleda Lleshi was sentenced to 3 years in prison, with a shortened trial of 2 years and an additional sentence of 5 years not to exercise any public function;
- Arsen Gjoka, Rubin Kola and Kujtim Zogu each with 2 years in prison, with a shortened sentence of 1 year and 4 months and 5 years not to exercise any public function;
-Leonard Daci is sentenced to 2 years in prison, with a shortened trial of 1 year and 4 months and 5 years not to exercise any public function;
-Aqif Konesha is sentenced to 2 years and 3 months, with an abbreviated sentence of 1 year and 6 months and 3 years not to act as the administrator of the legal entity;
-Dali Gazidedja is sentenced to 1 year and 9 months in prison, with a shortened trial of 1 year and 2 months.
