The High Representative of the EU for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell, in a text published on the website of the EU Service for Foreign Affairs, wrote that during the Munich Security Conference he spoke in separate meetings with the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, for the de-escalation of tensions in the relations between the two countries.

But as he emphasized, the talks "unfortunately were unsuccessful".

In addition to Kurti and Vucic, Borrell emphasizes that there have been a large number of bilateral meetings with EU partners from around the world.

Speaking about the results achieved, Borrell emphasized that in Munich he presented the four main goals of the EU's geopolitical agenda: greater and faster support for Ukraine, ending the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, improving relations between of the EU with the "global south" and the strengthening and security of the Union.

In a text published on the website of the EU's external service, he says that the atmosphere at this year's conference in Munich was special because, as he said, everyone became aware that Europe is in danger because of both wars nearby and many possible conflicts around the world.

"Everyone was made aware of the reality at this year's Munich Security Conference that Europe is in danger because of two wars in the vicinity and many possible conflicts around the world," Borrell emphasized, among other things.
