Ismail Kadare, the colossus of literature, will be sent to his last residence this Wednesday.
Tributes are being performed in the premises of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet, where the famous writer is being given his last farewell.
In the photos provided by LSA, you can see his wife, Helena Kadare, and her daughters, dressed in black and with tears in their eyes.
In honor of Ismail Kadare, many citizens and well-known personalities have arrived at TKOB to pay their respects to the great writer.
At 11:30 a.m. the farewell ceremony will be held, while the procession will leave for the Tufina cemetery around 12:30 p.m.
In honor of the Writer, Albania and Kosovo are in mourning, while in both countries the flags are lowered to half-mast.
