The Elbasan Prosecutor's Office has launched investigations into the serious incident that occurred in the city of Gramsh, where it is reported that around 70 children from a public kindergarten were poisoned at the beginning of the week.
Gramsh police, after being notified of the poisoning of several children from Kindergarten No. 1 by salmonella, have seized the clinical records for the 6 patients admitted to Gramsh hospital, the records of the control and supply of food products to Kindergarten No. 1, and food samples have been taken for further examinations in laboratory conditions.
Investigators are now focusing on the supply chain, the method of food storage, and hygiene in the institution's kitchen.
Additionally, food products left in the kitchen of this kindergarten were frozen. All actions were carried out under the direction of the Elbasan General Jurisdiction Prosecutor's Office.
