Journalist Eni Ferhati said that the investigation that SPAK has conducted against members of the Constitutional Court will most likely be used as a "stone" for the majority against SPAK.
This follows recent allegations by the ruling party, and even Prime Minister Edi Rama himself, that there are cases when the Special Prosecution Office does not implement European democratic standards. Ferhati added that the investigation into the judges has begun with some information made public in the media.
"It is a bit strange to continue with proactive actions, while it does not appear that Mr. Gent Ibrahimi's name has been part of the registered criminal proceedings. The investigation has only begun with some information made public in the media and this suits the recent claims of the majority," he said.
We recall that on Tuesday evening, journalist Flamur Vezaj said that members of the Constitutional Court were wiretapped by police officers from SPAK for 15 days. This was because the disclosure of this Court's decision regarding the rejection of Pëllumb Gjoka's request, legitimizing the Sky ECC conversations as evidence in court, was delayed.
