The director of the Albanian Development Fund, Dritan Agolli, was questioned this Tuesday for about two hours by the Special Prosecutor's Office against Organized Crime and Corruption.
Journalist Xhevahir Zhabina said on MCN Tv that considering that he was unaccompanied, it means that he was interrogated in the capacity of a person who has knowledge of investigations launched by the Special Prosecutor's Office against him, his subordinates or the institution he leads.
Zhabina said that SPAK has launched an investigation mainly for a 500 thousand euro tender for the creation of a menu for the 100 villages project, which was to be given to the chef Alfio Rrotani, who worked in the restaurant of Agolli's son.
Also, Zhabina said that PD has filed another report against Agolli. The opposition accuses the head of the ADF for a tender related to the retraining of the center of Vlora, about 9-10 million euros, which Agolli gave to a company that offered an offer with 2 million euros more.

He is in charge of ADF. It is an institution that tenders 100-120-150 million euros per year. It is one of the most important institutions because of the tenders it conducts.
One of the projects that this institution inherited from the Ministry of Agriculture was the project of 100 villages, a project that seems to have been forgotten, because despite the fact that the revival of the villages was requested, it seems that it did not proceed as it should because there were shortages large funds to realize that renaissance that was promised by the government for years. One of the tenders that impressed at the beginning of 2022 was the creation of a menu for 100 tourist villages. While it was a tender worth 500 dollars and it was said that 100 menus would be created for 100 tourist villages. It seemed that it was a badly started tender, won by the company of Alfio Rrotani, a chef known to Endrit Maci, and these people were declared the winners. Apparently, we were dealing with a pure conflict of interest since the chef Alfio Rrotani worked as head chef at the restaurant of the son of the director of the Albanian Development Fund. Considering what happened those days after the media talked a lot, this tender was cancelled, but at that time the Special Prosecutor's Office started this investigation mainly after the reports in the media. It is an investigation initiated primarily by SPAK following news in the media.
To my knowledge, PD has filed another report against Agolli, it is from 2022, it is accused of a tender related to the requalification of the center of Vlora, about 9-10 million euros. DP accuses that we are dealing with a violation of equality in tenders since the winning company won this tent with almost 2 million euros more than the other company that had made an offer with 2 million euros less , he said.
