Hamas attacks on Israel have currently left behind 600 victims.
At least 300 Israelis have been killed and dozens kidnapped, while 313 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 2,000 injured in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.
The Ambassador of Albania in Israel, Meri Kumbe, has made an announcement to the media, for all Albanians who live and work there.
Diplomat Kumbe announces that they are in contact with Albanian citizens and that there is maximum attention for Albanian citizens, for employees and family members of the embassy. Also for Albanians from Kosovo, Montenegro or North Macedonia.
Kumbe says that these are difficult hours for them in Israel, but on behalf of the Albanian government, he guarantees the Albanian citizens and their families, that under the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli authorities, all procedures are being followed for their safety, during their stay and departure towards Albania.
"I am Meri Kumbe, the ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Israel and I am currently at the Tel Aviv airport. For 48 hours, I have been in contact with the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hasani, and through the Ministry and the embassy staff we are in contact with Albanian citizens who live and work in Israel to help them leave the country.
By order of the Minister, there is maximum attention for our citizens, for the employees and family members of the embassy, as well as for citizens from Kosovo, Montenegro or Macedonia North.
These are difficult hours for us here in Israel, but on behalf of the Albanian government, I guarantee the Albanian citizens and their families, that under the direction of our Foreign Ministry and the Israeli authorities, all procedures are being followed for their safety, during their stay and departure to Albania", announced the ambassador.
Hamas soldiers are thought to have managed to get past the fortification and land in places not exposed by the cameras. Soldiers have descended with hang gliders, hit the tank standing on the border, while others talk about a remote-controlled drone.
The tank was hit by an explosive device while the Israeli soldiers running from the bases were hit with machine guns. Paragliders and motorized parachutes have been protagonists of Middle Eastern conflicts for more than forty years.
