Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi has provided details about the serious incident in Lezha, where members of the family of former MP Arben Ndoka clashed with Ardjan Nikulaj's nephew and a police officer at a barbershop, where its owner was also injured.
He stated that the police are out of the game and fail to guarantee security for citizens, while adding that the way armed people move around the city resembles the situation in 1997.
"The Lezha incident reminds you of how Mexico functioned during the time of El Chapo or Colombia, where drug gangs settle scores. It is not a well-thought-out murder, it seems to be a banal quarrel. The situation may have gotten out of hand. What is serious is how elements who have problems with the law move with the police out of the game, covering up events, turning a blind eye.
"I believe that from a quarrel they may have gone to put the Kalash on the head and humiliate them for not deciding. I believe that the situation has gotten out of hand. The way they move with armed people in two cars, resembles 1997 ," said Dervishi.
