The Albanian Road Authority announced this evening that the road in Qafë Thore remains open to traffic, while the situation is being closely monitored due to the potential risk of avalanches.

The rainfall has not stopped and, if its intensity increases during the night, authorities estimate that conditions could be created for the reactivation of avalanches.

The Road Authority confirms that the maintenance contractor is on site with vehicles and employees ready to intervene in any situation that may arise.
