Expert Fatjon Softa, speaking about the spread of prostitution, emphasized that this phenomenon is happening regularly with minors.
In an interview for 'Top News', Softa stated that the police have caught several cases of prostitution through call centers, where girls under the age of 18 have participated.
" When we say prostitution, it becomes difficult when we say that we are dealing with minors because prostitution exists in this country, it exists because of many facts that we can analyze, such as the cases of call centers. How many operations have been carried out by the police in Tirana and other places that have been caught in the act of practicing prostitution through call centers, different hotels or other groups. But here we are dealing with minors, under the age of 18, and their use in hotels in the area of Fushë-Kruja ", said the expert.
As he referred to the last case of prostitution that was caught by the authorities, he said that the girls who perform these actions say that they do it willingly, in exchange for profit.
Softa emphasized that this happens because of the narcotics they use, which force them to have sexual relations, with the aim of profit.
" These three minors have left their homes, two of them are suspected to be sisters, and they are with three people who are in the conditions that they say they are with friends and they go of their own free will. There are many cases where they say they go of their own free will. In all cases, it is suspected that girls, especially under 18 years old, inject or use narcotics that make them and force them to perform these relations, either willingly or not, to practice prostitution for profit ," he said.
