Lawyer Indrit Sefa and journalist Bledian Koka have fiercely debated the fact that the Democratic Party today demanded the dismissal of Bajram Begaj.
Sefa stated that he is defending the President of his country as a lawyer, while Koka labeled him as shameless for this fact.
Debate:
Sefa: You know how many reports the opposition has made, they were accurate, sir.
Koka: Today I have seen some facts that make me believe that we have a fake President
Sefa: The opposition, in order to properly serve the citizens, should not rush to appear on TV as soon as they receive a letter, but should do their own investigative work. They should get some information and after verifying it, they should go out and file a request for dismissal and prove it to the citizens. Because at the end of the day, sir, he is my President, he is the President of Mr. Bardhi, Mr. Berisha and everyone else. He is the President of the Republic and he is not Bajram Begaj as an individual. Therefore, we must have respect for the institution. I have this problem.
Koka: If you were concerned about the institution, you wouldn't say that the opposition only issued a letter today. The head of the DP Group held a 40-minute conference where he listed 7 reasons why the opposition, in its analysis, believes that the President has violated the Constitution. Today, at a minimum, since you are a lawyer and have been part of the DP, you should know that the denunciation made by Mr. Bardhi is substantiated by the decision of the Constitutional Court to suspend the date of the elections in Tirana.
Sefa: You're wrong. It's suspended. It's suspended in effect. It will be decided on the 31st.
Head: The decision of the President of the Republic to schedule elections is unconstitutional.
Sefa: Yes, for me too, the election decree is unconstitutional.
Koka: It is surprising that your opinion also agrees with that of the DP group. There are some very important points here. The first point that the DP group has wisely put at the top is the decision on the elections in Tirana. From here, should this President be dismissed or should we wait for him to do some other crazy thing. He risks going to prison in a normal country because violating the Constitution is a serious act. He knows very well what he has done but he came out and said that this decision was made by me but by Ilir Rusmajli. That is what the lawyers told me, he said. So a dummy president who signs on behalf of the Prime Minister.
Sefa: I have respect for the institution of the President, but you associate your name with the institution.
Head: The name honors it, but it defiles the institution
Sefa: You're wrong, Bledi.
Koka: Baromi violated the constitution, you know. How do you justify Eid? You are acting as Eid's lawyer. For me today you are Eid's lawyer.
Sefa: Yes, I am my President's.
Head: You belong to President Rama
Sefa: You have two states, Bledi, one of Rama and one of the opposition. I do not have two states.
