"Ide e Rama", Baba Mondi reacts to the "Vatican" of the

" It surprised us" . This was the first comment that the Great Grandfather of the Bektashians, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, made regarding the news that has been circulating since this morning about the creation of a microstate like the one of the Vatican in Tirana.

To the interest in learning how the sovereign state will function, for which Prime Minister Edi Rama said in the "New York Times" that it will be about 11 hectares and will have its own passport, Baba Mondi responded by saying that the initiative is completely conceived and proposed by the head of the Albanian government.

" The news that Albania can grant sovereignty to the Bektashi Order for territorial independence has surprised us. We have not sought and do not pretend to create a Muslim state. The initiative is entirely Prime Minister Rama's. We have not been asked about what the Prime Minister has stated in 'The New York Times '", Baba Mondi told A2CNN .

So, the prestigious American wrote that it is an enclave modeled after the Vatican, but four times smaller, which means that the Sovereign State of the Bektashi Order will be the smallest state in the world.

According to Prime Minister Edi Rama, this country will aim to promote religious tolerance, but the Great Grandfather of the Bektashi underlined that alcohol will be allowed in his territory and women will wear whatever they want, as there will be no rules for lifestyle.

" God forbids nothing; that's why it gave us mind. All decisions will be made with love and courtesy ," said Baba Mondi to the "New York Times" newspaper.

Meanwhile, it is learned that a team of legal experts, including international lawyers, are drafting the relevant legislation.

"So far, Edi Rama, a non-practicing Catholic, said that only a few of his closest aides know about the plan, and NATO allies such as the United States have not been consulted," the newspaper points out.
