Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi has provided further details regarding the issue of interference in SPAK systems, clarifying the context of the mention of the names of senior officials and the relationships between the accused persons.
According to Dervishi, the three people accused in this case had previous connections with each other and were officials at the Directorate of Prisons. He emphasized that they were dismissed from their duties by Ulsi Manja, at a time when the latter held the post of minister.
"These three people had a connection between them from the prison directorate, they were officials and Ulsi Manja had fired them," Dervishi said in the studio of the show "This Week".
The journalist said that in their communications, the accused appear excited and focused on finding compromising materials, especially against Manja.
" They remember finding something about Manja and there are many such conversations ," he said, adding that the communications show a desperate attempt at revenge or pressure.
In this context, Dervishi also clarified the mention of Prime Minister Edi Rama's name in their communications. According to him, there is a message that reads:
"I will also write to Rama if I find this ," he said.
However, Dervishi added that such a statement does not constitute a direct implication.
" Saying 'I will write to Rama' does not imply that. That's how I see it in this case ," Dervishi concluded.
