Albanian journalism is in mourning today, after one of its most emblematic figures passed away. Renowned journalist Artur Zheji passed away as a result of a cardiac arrest.

He was on vacation in Saranda and at the time of the tragic event he was in a restaurant having lunch with his wife and his 22-year-old son, who was celebrating his birthday today.

During lunch, Arturi did not feel well and an ambulance was called. He arrived at the Saranda hospital with no signs of life, leaving behind his wife, son and 19-year-old daughter.
