The Commander-in-Chief of the Guard of the Republic of Albania, Gramoz Sako, has resigned from his post.

Journalist Anila Hoxha informs that she submitted her resignation yesterday to the Minister of the Interior, who accepted it.

The reasons are not known and there is still no new appointment, although it is unofficially announced that next week the head of the Guard will be replaced.

The Ministry of the Interior declares that it has launched an in-depth reformation of the Guard that deals with the protection of the PLSh.

Thus, during the submission of forms for SKY ECC, a Guard officer, identified as Adnan Lleshi, was excluded, after he signed that he had used the application.

"I didn't know it was forbidden", said the Guard officer.
