An officer of the Republic Guard has been expelled from the ranks of the institution after declaring that he used the encrypted SKY ECC application.
It is learned that the police surveillance agency is looking at the possibility of another form that will be sent to self-declaring subjects, for other applications that apparently were not used only by crime. The form for the self-declaration of the use of encrypted applications SKY ECC and ENCRO CHAT, "burns" the first official.
Out of about 13 thousand subjects of the police surveillance agency in the ranks of the blue uniforms, the Guard of the Republic and the fire service, only 1 person has admitted to using an encrypted application. The Republic Guard's personnel were immediately dismissed, the security of high state dignitaries and the preservation of objects of special importance were immediately taken.
In the files under investigation by SPAK, it appears that 1 or 2 police officers are implicated in the SKY ECC investigation. This has led AMP to look at the possibility of submitting an additional form with other applications that have been used for illegal purposes.
One of them is the "Matrix" application, on which the justice associate Nuredin Dumani confessed that he used it for a long period to communicate securely for criminal purposes.
