Lawyer Gentian Rumano has criticized SPAK, as he says that the prosecution has lowered the standard in terms of evidence and sends cases to the court only with evidence, without concrete evidence.
He also says that SPAK has the wolves ahead and deals with the tracks of the past years.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", the lawyer emphasizes that the short deadlines mean that the Prosecutor's Office does not carry out the investigations properly.
"We have been advertising the defect of the prosecutor's office in the investigations that are not sufficient when it comes to sending the case to the Court. This was found in Mr. Dako's file. But in my estimation, these should not serve to return the file to complete the investigations, but to dismiss the case. They do not have enough evidence to prove the accusations they have raised.
The accusations that they raise, I do not understand why they should deal with accusations of criminal facts that happened many years ago. We have the wolves ahead they deal with the tracks of x years. It should not be given this publicity.
By arresting a person for committing a criminal offense, you restrict yourself to conducting investigations. You must stay concise within the detention period available to the prosecution. Due to tight deadlines, the prosecution rushes and does not carry out investigations. There are files that are scandalous in terms of the way the prosecution tried. The prosecution has lowered its standard as far as the evidence is concerned, it has only led to indicia. It sends cases to the court only with evidence, not with evidence. This is very dangerous", said Gentian Rumano.
