Journalist Blendi Fevziu has commented on Prime Minister Rama's visit to the United States, where he is expected to participate in the establishment of the so-called Peace Board in Washington.
Fevziu stated that, despite the reservations that some European countries may have towards this initiative, Albania has previously followed positions in line with the US, even when they were not fully supported by Europe.
"Do you remember the coalition of the willing in 2003? They joined together and Prime Minister Nano also wrote an article called the old and new Europe, which included Poland and Albania. It is not the first time that we have made such solutions with the US even without the approval of Europe," Fevziu told "The Unexposed".
Asked by the moderator about the reason for Rama's commitment to this initiative, Fevziu replied: "Could Rama say no to Trump?"
He also added that participation in this activity could also be seen as an opportunity to meet with the former American president.
"This Peace Board is also an opportunity to meet Trump. Rama is thinking about the joke he will tell Trump," Fevziu declared.
The Prime Minister's visit to the US and involvement in this initiative have sparked discussions in the studio and among public opinion, at a time when the attitudes of European countries towards the initiative remain reserved.
