Kosovo politician Mimoza Kusari-Lila has shared details from her personal life, telling how she discovered she had a breast tumor.
She said it all started during a routine check-up, which she does every year. " After the check-ups, I discovered that I had a 1 cm tumor," said Kusari-Lila, adding that after the surgery, she also underwent radiation treatment.
The MP stated that the moment she was diagnosed with cancer coincided with the harshest period of political attacks against her in Kosovo.
"When I was diagnosed with cancer, I was at the height of political attacks. But my personal confrontation, the moment when I realized I had cancer, was the easiest part compared to the external part. I used to say: internal malignant cells are easier for me to control than those that are outside, or that try to attack me from the outside," Kusari confessed to "TCH".
