The online registration platform for children in nurseries and kindergartens in Tirana seems to have been a failure. Although it was introduced as an innovation in June by Anuela Ristani and the relevant directorate, in fact this platform has caused hundreds of parents to wander the streets to register their children in nurseries or kindergartens.
But what really happened? After the application was made in June, it was announced that the results would be released at the end of August and parents would be notified by email. It turns out that some were notified and many were not.
Many complaints have been received by " Pamphlet ", where parents complain that they have not received any information. According to them, friends or relatives who have children there have been informed about the same kindergarten or nursery, while they have not been informed at all.
This has led many parents to go to the General Directorate of Kindergartens and Daycare Centers, seeking information on the fate of their children. A verification conducted by "Pamphlet" shows that there have been long lines of parents in the premises of this directorate, also due to the arrogance of the employees.
Many parents have been seen shouting and fighting with them because no one is giving an explanation. The employees have found a method of giving out some complaint sheets and asking the parents to write their requests on them. But most have not received any response even after written requests. Many parents complain that they start work in September and have nowhere to leave their children.
" They are holding a tender for millions of euros for online registration and now they have turned it into chaos. My wife and I are at work and I have nowhere to leave the child in September, I have to take him to daycare. We are both insured, with everything in order. This is the third time I have come here and they have not given me any explanation. They say they will inform you within August, but my fear is that the places will be taken and where will I take the baby then?" , says a citizen.
Many others have the same concern, while there is also a problem with kindergarten registration, as the scandal is that many children are registered in 3-4 kindergartens at the same time. The responsible bodies themselves are silent and say that everyone will receive an answer this week, but without providing an explanation as to why this differentiation. /Pamphlet
