Analyzing the political situation in the country, the analyst Ergys Mërtiri stated that the head of the DP Lulzim Basha has chosen the wrong way to do politics.
In an interview for "Abc News", Mërtiri stated that Basha's passive attitude towards the opposition action is wrong. According to him, Basha's plan to let the parties consume each other is not going to work.
" I see Mr. Basha as quite passive and it seems to me a wrong policy of the upright. Perhaps he thinks to let the parties consume each other and then he will unfold his own agenda. There is a problem here that Mr. Basha faces, one is that he has the entire oligarchy against him and this probably makes him reluctant to get involved.
We must say this, that in the opposition wing, everyone understands that Berisha cannot be the future, but what the opposition is trying to do all this time with all its media and the people who support it, is that to 'kill' his rival within the opposition. So, Berisha has no war with Rama at all, he has with Mr. Basha and in fact he has the Americans, but to protect himself from the Americans he has to be the head of the opposition and the rivalry within the opposition worries him. For me, this is not a reason to be passive, he has his own policy, but on the other hand there is a problem, that the policy that Mr. Basha wants to make, the model of the opposition that he will make is a different type, an institutional opposition , noise, rational, boycott or blockade of parliament, not physical labor opposition , "he said.
