The speech of the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, in the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) took place in a hall where many empty seats were noticeably observed, a fact that has prompted various comments and interpretations in political and media circles.

However, in addition to absences related to disengagement or indifference, a deliberate political boycott was also registered. Arab MPs from three different parties decided not to participate in the special session organized in honor of the Prime Minister of Albania, a country with a Muslim majority but which is historically considered a friend of Israel and with consolidated bilateral relations.

A source from the ranks of the Arab parties, quoted by local media, expressed ironically about Rama's visit: "Let the presence of 'Otzma Yehudi' and 'Religious Zionism' suffice."

This stance reflects the dissatisfaction of a section of the Arab political spectrum in Israel, which often boycotts such symbolic events, especially when they are perceived as political acts that legitimize certain balances within Israeli politics. As can be seen from the footage, many of the chairs in the parliament hall are empty.
