The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has today dismissed the appeal filed by Erion Veliaj, leaving the previous First Instance decision in force.
Erion Veliaj requested that the investigative actions carried out by SPAK be declared invalid.
"The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of Judge Engert Pëllumbi, today on 20.10.2025, announced the decision on criminal case no. 240 act, date 14.10.2025 registration, on the appeal of the person under investigation EV, with the subject: "Appeal against decision no. 43 act, date 01.09.2025, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with the subject: Finding of procedural violations of the Special Prosecutor's Office during the preliminary investigation phase of criminal proceedings no. 27, of 2024 and the invalidity of investigative actions" and decided:
- Enforcing Decision No. 43, dated 01.09.2025, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.
"It was announced in Tirana, on 20.10.2025," the court announced.
