Former candidate for the municipality of Kuçova, Lefter Maliqi, has commented on the electoral process, stating that his victory was stolen through a blackmail and manipulation scheme.
Maliqi said that he has not given up his battle, considering it a professional obligation to uncover the truth.
At the center of the accusations is the current mayor of Kuçovë, Kreshnik Hajdari, whom Maliqi describes as protected by the oligarch Salillari.
According to Maliqi, Hajdari is being misused by corrupt interests and that this protection keeps him out of SPAK's net. He expressed confidence that once this support is removed, Hajdari will face justice.
Maliqi mentioned a specific case regarding several illegal construction floors in Salillari, where former Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi had requested their demolition, but then, this situation was used to blackmail Hajdari into working for the election result.
Maliqi said he was the winner of the Kuçova election, stating that by 12:00 noon on election day, he was 462 votes ahead. He alleges that the result was overturned after the 'rape' of around 11 ballot boxes in what he calls the "crime KZAZ".
Regarding this incident, he says that he has filed a complaint with SPAK, but expresses surprise at the silence of this institution. Another strong point of his complaint is related to the implementation of the decriminalization law.
Maliqi accuses of double standards, saying that unlike other cases where officials have been dismissed for concealing convictions, this did not happen with Hajdari.

And I have a conviction that justice will be served in the Kuçova Municipality against the famous Hajdar and his oligarch boss Salillari.
I believe that after a year, I will invite you to the inauguration of the victory of the Municipality of Kuçova, and after this victory, I am convinced that Hajdari, being let go by the oligarch and others, because they only want him to be in power, will then fall into the SPAK net on his own.
Now he is being protected because of the corrupt interests of the oligarch Salillari and other firms or politicians who are abusing Hajdar.
And I told you that I was surprised, shocked, that SPAK has not acted until now and surprised again because I believe that this incompetent person at the head of the Municipality of Kuçova, who has left Kuçova as in ruins and as in the Middle Ages, where in the film footage, not only in your media but also in many other media and portals, the scandalous situation of Kuçova in the village and in the city, like no other city in Albania, has been given, due to the terrible abuses with citizens' taxes.
But the origins of Salillari occurred in August 2023, two or three months before the announcement of the candidacies for mayor, when the Çuçi family, the political leader, former Minister of Interior in the Berat region, so he was a political leader, former Minister of Interior, came out with Dallandyshe Bici and a few others and said that these two unauthorized floors of Salillari and one floor underground should be demolished and gave a deadline.
Meanwhile, after that, they blackmailed him, abused him by forcing him to work hard in the Berat region, especially in the Kuçova Municipality, where it was known that I would win and I won the Kuçova Municipality, despite the fact that the ballot boxes were tampered with in the criminal CEAZ, which was already secretly dismantled in December on New Year's Day, where the criminal scheme was also denounced by me in SPAK, where almost 11 ballot boxes were tampered with, although the Çuçi family says that we tampered with six ballot boxes in Kuçova.
Because by 12:00 noon I was 462 votes ahead. Now, I have made several denunciations. First of all, this is justice with double standards. In the decriminalization law, you know very well that everyone has fled. Whoever hid the sentence in the decriminalization form, whatever the sentence is... Speaker 2: everyone has fled, except for Hajdar and the famous Irena, who is now being taken over by the KLP or others, in quotes, misused by politics.
And Celibashi kept him in office. You know that I appealed to the KAS and the KAS returned Celibashi for dismissal and his prosecutor, the fat one, Dhori Sollaku appealed the KAS decision to the Administrative Court and the Administrative Court, after a year of delay, no maternity leave and so on, took the court case on date number 6547 out of judicial jurisdiction and sent the case for a decision to be reviewed by the body, the Central Election Commission.
So, he did this on 6.11.2025. From that date until today, I am no longer interested in the CEC. Why am I not interested?
