The Mayor of Roskovec, Majlinda Bufi, appeared today at the premises of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK).
The reason for her appearance at SPAK is not yet known, but we recall that this is the second time she has been summoned to the Special Prosecution Office.
Bufi has been reported by the opposition for several criminal offenses, such as: "Abuse of office" and "Threat or violence against election participants."
According to the complaint, the mayor has intentionally and personally committed serious violations against public administration employees during the local election campaign, to prevent them from voting freely, violations such as threats, pressure and blackmail. PD Roskovec has also filed a criminal complaint against her with SPAK, accusing her of tender abuse.
Public denunciations have also been made by Democratic MP, Gazment Bardhi, who has repeatedly called on SPAK to investigate Bufi regarding a tender for charging electric cars worth millions of euros, as well as for the construction of a thermal power plant in an agricultural area.
