But although in a normal country, in such cases an earthquake in the government would be expected, here we must prepare for something else; who will become the next 'scapegoat' to divert attention from the big "fish", Rama-Veliaj.
Yesterday's interview of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj has shocked the entire government, led by Edi Rama and the mayor Erjon Veliaj.
His statements were strong, direct and most importantly, enough to set in motion the justice system, which in the case of the incinerator has turned a blind eye to those who are truly responsible.
But although in a normal country in such cases one would expect an earthquake in the government, here we must prepare for something else; who will become the next 'scapegoat' to divert attention from the big "fish", Rama-Veliaj.
As we have already learned in Albania, every time government scandals break out, Rama, the 'Spin doctor' of the Renaissance, is set in motion to create events that distract the public's attention.
Something like this has happened every time there has been talk about the great affair of incinerators, that of health or the case of the release of data of Albanians on the black market.
Events which have recently been camouflaged with the Iranian cyber attack, with the summoning of important politicians to SPAK, with the capture of gang leaders in some cases or with large-scale police actions, or with changes in the government.
Having said all that, in the coming days we have to prepare for relatively big events. Mainly the blow can come from SPAK, which can make any move towards any important politician, but not Rama and Veliaj. We may have the arrest of a very wanted person or the dismissal of a minister, all options are open on the table, what remains a mystery is which of the scenarios the 'spin doctor' of the Renaissance will choose./ Pamphlet
