The High Prosecution Council has strongly reacted to the attacks being made on the Special Prosecution and the judiciary itself.
Yesterday, Sali Berisha slandered Altin Duman, while Meta did the same thing before and his benjamins continue to do it. The former president even threatened the head of SPAK in the courtroom.
KLP in a reaction to the media condemns these attacks, asking that prosecutors be supported and not attacked.
" The High Prosecution Council has followed with concern the reactions and recent statements that have been made against the prosecution system. KLP reiterates its full commitment to stand by the prosecutors of the Republic of Albania, who every day exercise their activity in challenging conditions. Attempts to influence or intimidate justice institutions, especially those on the front lines of the fight against crime and corruption, are attacks on the basic principles of integrity and justice that underpin law enforcement in the country. The reform in justice and the implementation of the law are the main criteria that the European Union requires from Albania for the creation of an independent justice system. Therefore, KLP invites the media to, with their work, support the activity of independent institutions in their institutional journey ", emphasizes KLP.
Then the High Prosecution Council stops at Dumani himself. According to her, such accusations are serious threats to the system, as she states that they are in support of SPAK.

The work and integrity of the prosecutors of the Republic of Albania are essential for building a system that serves and protects the citizens of this country, without fear or prejudice, it continues.
