The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has published the footage of the fire in the used clothes market in Shkodër.
The fire was of great size, and as can be seen in the video, the images are apocalyptic.
Balla says that fire brigades from neighboring municipalities also arrived to help put out the big fire, while the Armed Forces intervened from the air with a helicopter.
"Firefighting services are working to extinguish a very large fire in the Qafhardhi neighborhood. The State Police has evacuated the residents of the apartments in the surrounding area, while a large number of firefighters from the neighboring municipalities are arriving to help the boys of MKZSH Shkodër. The Armed Forces will intervene from the air through the helicopter", writes Minister Balla.
