The doctor in England: The mistake made with the antibiotic in Albania
Adrian Fandi

The Albanian doctor in London, Adrian Fandi, has stated that the antibiotic should not be given in all cases, but only if the patient has secondary bacterial complications.

Fandi said the antibiotic should be given if the patient hears lung sounds and it is best to combine it with cortisone.

"The antibiotic is given if you have a secondary bacterial complication. If you hear lung sounds, if you have colored sputum. So the secretions that come out in color. If the patient has clean lungs, there is no need for antibiotics.

The antibiotic should be combined with cortisone. Patients breathe more freely and heal. Cortisone should be given based on dose and weight. The mistake that is made in medicine today is the administration of intramuscular antibiotics. It's a mistake because the doctor doesn't listen to his own conscience, but listens to the patient," Fandi told Euronews Albania.
