The number of teenagers using cannabis and marijuana has increased significantly from year to year.
The toxicologist doctor of the Fier hospital, Lulzim Banushi, says that teenagers who start using substances or herbal drugs change their behavior, so parents should be very attentive when they see that children fail in lessons, ask for money, have insomnia, nervousness, beatings rapid heart rate and psychomotor agitation. In these cases, parents should take them for consultation to a psychologist, psychiatrist, neurologist and definitely toxicology consultation.

The toxicologist says that there are no statistics on drug users, as they go to the hospital only when they overdose. Fier Hospital has statistics on heroin users taking methadone.
