"Don't lie to yourself anymore", Sejamin-Bardhit: Split your mind, go with Berisha or make a new party!

DP MP Gazment Bardhi clashed with analyst Neritan Sejamini regarding his joining the Rithemelim group.

In an interview for "The Unexposed", Sejamini told the General Secretary of the Democratic Party that this party has already split and that they are wasting time lying to themselves, so they should either create a new party or finally join with Sali Berisha's group.

Excerpts from the studio conversation:

Neritan Sejamini : PD is de facto divided today. You must not lie to yourself. There is an expression, the first principle is don't lie to yourself and yourself is the easiest person to lie to. Basha will get the name and seal, Berisha has the majority of the party.

Where will you be? Will you form a new party or will you join Mr. Berisha? Every effort you make, with this language of union, use nonsense words, we will unite, we will find union…

Either you know him or you don't know Mr. Berisha. Otherwise, you can make another party, as Mr. Meta has. You either make a new party, or with Mr. Berisha. The sooner you make the solution, the more energy you save for yourself and Albania. DP was united and lost the elections, not anymore.

No analysis of DP can be correct, if it does not start from April 2021, when DP decided to re-elect Lulzim Basha unanimously, after the third defeat, without any opposition. When you answer this, things will be clearer.

We start from some dogmas as if PD is the big party where the rules have worked. These are pieces of paper that every party leader has torn up.

The point is this, PD has a future, this new one, only if it is modernized, if it becomes democratic. This is the battle you have to fight with Mr. Berisha, you say I join you, but with these conditions, to create a PD. The others are a waste of time for DP and Albania.

Gazment Bardhi : I agree with part of Neritani's analysis. It needs a new project and strategy, but maintaining those individual divisions. At this moment, without having the opportunity to find the language for issues that unite us, we cannot restart the debate about the party. This would make it difficult to find a solution. Until September 5, we did not communicate with each other at all.
