In the last 24 hours, rain and snow have returned to the country, although we are in the last week of March.
Snow has returned again to the mountainous areas of Shkodra, where the Bogë-Theth and Tamarë-Vermosh roads are covered with snow.
Currently, work is being done to clean the roads and there are no traffic problems.
Meanwhile, drivers are advised to be careful while driving on these roads.
During last night, Kukësi was also affected by bad weather.
The rain storm accompanied by strong winds has given way to snow at heights of 650 meters above sea level.
The snowfall has included administrative units such as Kališe, Arrë, Surroj, Bushtricë, Gryk-Çaë, Ujmishte, Topojan, Shishtavec and Borje. The thickness of the snow in these areas did not exceed 10 cm, causing no problems in the circulation of vehicles or isolation of the villages.
Meanwhile, the rains during the night have caused stones to fall in some rural and national road segments, such as Kukës-Bushtricë, Kukës-Çaf Mali or Kukës-Shishtavec without causing road blockages.
As for the supply of electricity to the population, there have been interruption problems from time to time in some mountainous areas but also in the outskirts of the city of Kukes.
The beginning of this week brought a drop in temperatures in the country and the return of rainfall, while there was also snowfall in the mountainous areas.
