In Belgium, the "SKY ECC" mega-trial continues with 128 defendants, accused of international cocaine trafficking.
Magomed P. and Thomas D. are being prosecuted for allegedly transporting cocaine for the account of Eridan Munoz Guerrero from Vlonia. The defense for them requires the suspension of the decision. As for the Albanian Daniel KD, the defense requests release.
Magomed P. is being prosecuted as he is suspected of having transported cocaine on behalf of Eridan Munoz Guerrero, one of the suspected leaders of this file. The Federal Public Prosecution asked for a 4-year prison sentence, a 4,000-euro fine and a 4,000-euro confiscation, the amount he received for the transports he performed.
For Thomas D., the defense also asked for a suspended sentence or alternatively community service. He is on trial for allegedly making several shipments to Italy and signing the documents to create BAT Concept, a company he never ran.
"My client has agreed to be a soldier," his lawyer admitted.
The defense of the Albanian Daniel KD, 32, requested the release of his client. The Albanian, who is wanted in England for murder, was arrested in early February. The federal prosecutor considers him a supplier of narcotics and has asked for 10 years in prison.
The Albanian, who has six aliases, including an Italian identity, was arrested during an operation on February 6 of this year where 9 people were arrested and 60 kg of cocaine were seized, while it turned out that he was also wanted for the "SKY ECC" mega-process.
