The Lajda Porja weather forecaster has revealed how the meteorological situation will appear in the country in the coming days.
Porja revealed that today and until Sunday morning there will be rain mainly in the central areas where flooding is also expected in certain closed areas.
The polar cold is expected to arrive from Tuesday, which will continue until the weekend.
"January started with high temperatures and today has high temperatures for the season reaching 18-19 degrees. There has also been an increase in the minimum values, but from hour to hour we expect accumulation of clouds bringing rain. The second part of today and until the early hours of the next day there will be rain where the most will be in the central and southern areas. In some central areas such as in Tirana, Durrës, Fier, Berat, Lushnja there will be problems as there will be intense rain from time to time, which may bring flooding in certain areas and neighborhoods.
While from Monday onwards we will have an improvement in the atmospheric conditions and we will have a stable week without rain. What will change will be the temperatures, where from tomorrow there will be a drop of 5 or 6 degrees and snowfall is expected in the north and more significant in the southeastern part, mainly in the villages.
