Bad weather/ The road at "Ura e Petrani" splits, blocking traffic on the Përmet-Çarçova axis

The Gjirokastra District Prefecture has informed citizens that as a result of a crack in the roadway due to heavy rainfall, the "Përmet-Çarçovë" road axis, near the place called "Ura e Petrani", is blocked to traffic.

Damage to the “Përmet-Çarçova” road axis

The structures of the Gjirokastër Local Police Directorate are on the ground, in cooperation with civil emergency structures and the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH), which are working intensively to increase security, manage the situation and intervene to normalize this road segment.

The Gjirokastra District Prefecture appeals to avoid movement on this road axis, to exercise increased caution when driving and to strictly respect road traffic rules.
