"January 21"/ The Supreme Court gives the decision on February 27,

The Supreme Court will decide on February 27 whether the file of January 21 should be transferred to SPAK.

The Supreme Court will consider the request of the Nika family.

It will be the Supreme Court that, with an injunctive decision, will decide who will continue the investigations for January 21, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana or SPAK, to open the investigation of the state crime based on the decision of the Strasbourg court.

Even the head of the government, Rama, at the commemorative ceremony on January 21, said that he hopes that the Supreme Court will make a decision with justice.

On the 13th anniversary of "January 21", Rama considers this event an uninvestigated state crime.

In his speech at the Prime Minister together with family members of the victims, with ministers, socialist deputies and members of the SP, Rama called for justice, which this time according to him, comes with a little light at the end of the tunnel due to the decision of the European Court for Human Rights.

" Today this commemoration has little more than just hope in the total darkness of the tunnel of the search for justice all these years. Therefore today, unlike other times, we are together not only to commemorate but also to say these words. Because there is finally some light on the long road of this tunnel ", said the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Edi Rama blames the lack of justice on January 21 on the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, which accuses it of being a rotten segment of the new justice system.

" A body spread across the country which has started to give encouraging signs of life thanks to the reform in justice that we led and approved with this will and thanks to the activity of SPAK and the Special Court which are giving encouraging evidence. While the cripples and other organs of the body of justice continue to be compiled through the inertia of the age-old bracket and piecemeal awakenings according to the cases or continue to sleep shamelessly on the yellowed files of crimes, where January 21 remains the crime of crimes and the screaming need for the deepening of further reform in justice.

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana is one of these branches. But how is it possible that years pass and meanwhile other members who are there to enable good governance and self-control of the justice system see for years this completely unjustifiable delay and do nothing? What the European Court of Human Rights did, was it so difficult for the system itself to do? Meanwhile, the question is, do we have to prepare for the worst so that again the system does not act on the basis of the obligation arising from the decision of the European Court? Therefore, January 21 is as much a need for direct justice related to a state crime as it is a motive and an overview to better understand what our duty is as leaders and political guarantors of justice reform, while Albania is in a real open national challenge between the past injustice and the future that we must do today in Albania as a state of law while we cannot simply wait and observe the results of the reform in justice ", said Rama .
